Growing up in Accokeek, Maryland with two brothers and two hard working parents, like many, Kim was a latchkey kid that was fairly independent at a young age. Admittedly, Kim struggled as a young girl in school, but it was her father’s love and constant motivation that drove her and set her on a path to be the hard-working woman and dedicated mother she is today. Running a workforce development nonprofit in Baltimore for 8 years opened Kim's eyes to the corruption plaguing the city. Exposing the late Representative Elijah Cummings' district in 2019 as rat infested with a horrific murder rate using her cellphone and a tripod, Kim Klacik found herself making a selfless decision that would change her life. Running for congress with the most watched campaign ad in US history, Kim gained national attention and praise from President Trump and many other notable leaders on both sides of the aisle, for taking on such a challenging race. Trump later told Kim he endorsed her with the hope of a miracle that could reshape inner cities across America.

 

Now, Kim Klacik is running in the place she’s long called home, Congressional District 2. As a Middle River resident fed up with the far left’s policies and the blurring of the city and county lines, Klacik is equipped to flip a seat once held by two patriots, former governor Bob Ehrlich and Congresswoman Helen Bentley.
